In the Podcast, reference is made to FreeMind. The question was raised whether Freemind was regularly updated. Just to keep you updated, the latest version is 0.8.0 from September 2005.

Further to FreeMind…
I’ve been using the 0.8.1 beta 4 version which is a significant step up in functionality from 0.8.0… it adds significant filtering and the ability to use multiple attributes on each node. The developers are bringing the various bits together for the next release, but there is no timeline announced yet.
I guess I’m one of the enthusiastic users mentioned… it’s an incredible tool.
