Activewords for MindManager 6

Buzz mailed me this morning telling me about the new ActiveWords agent for MindManager 6.0. There’s a cool video demonstration on the site and the tool looks fantastic. Requires (of course) Activewords and MindManager 6.0.

I told Buzz I’ve also been using their Gmail agent a lot lately and it rocks. I can open up an Activewords entry field, type in the search term I’m looking for, and the ActiveWords script will open up my Gmail, automatically enter the term in the search field, and activate it. Totally brilliant.

Of course, if you don’t know what Activewords is, listen to a couple of interviews I’ve done with Buzz over the last year:

    G’Day World interview Dec 2004
    Productivity Show interview Nov 2005

Using words to create MindManager Mind Maps

Instantly create thematic mind maps of any document or ebook!

MS Word 2007 Add In allows you to create instant MindManager mind maps of your documents based on its thematic content. Themes are represented as Topic Nodes in the mind map. It also produces a Synopsis and Detailed Summary of the document, and allows you to locate every paragraph that contains that theme.

Our partner Mindsystems has released the second and Business Edition of ThemeReader for $100 US. It’s a great product and incorporates Cirilab’s Knowledge Generation Engine technology, and works with XP, Vista, Word 2003 and 2007, WordPerfect X3, and the new MindManager 7. Free Trial. Give it a try!
