The Productivity Show #28 - Cameron’s little time saver!
It’s been a while, but here it is, the next show, with me, Tony Goodson, and a special guest (Cameron Reilly) who gives us a special tip on how to save the most time, certainly in his life! This show was easy, I skyped Cameron, and just sat back whilst he talked and talked and talked.

BTW dude, since our chat I’ve been using the MindManager GTD template I mentioned (LINK) and I’m pretty excited about it. It’s taking me a while to work out how to set it up and use it, defining my projects, etc, but I think this might be the new central part of my day! Thanks for the tip off.

Nice show Tony I enjoyed it. Welcome to the network!
Maybe we should get you onto the Global Geek to have a chat about geek productivity? Very much productivity 101 - I am new to it :) The other thing is that the “Geek” is probably the most easily distracted and lead astray beast. As well as that they suffer from ADD in a major way. So it would be great to have your perspective and how we can more efficiently get stuff done - geek style!
Just so you are aware - I am moving and will be off line for a week or so. But please feel free to contact me and we can chat about it after I have moved and - the isp comes good with the 8MB internet connection :)
Keep up the great work and well done for the “first” show. I just had a thought - if you want a geek on the show then look me up - I’ll have some time during the hiatus from the show :)

Good to see that The Buddy and The Geek are now inspired!

Great to have the show back. After months of waiting I can finally get my productivity fix.
You could probably manage to run the entire show by calling up Cam and giving him small prompts. He’s certainly never short on things to say :-)
You’ve prompted me to properly assess my goals. Goal making is never really something I’ve gotten around to properly but I think that given I’m currently making the temporary switch from student to productive member of society the primary focus of my life has shifted so it strikes me as a good time to assess my goals.
Thanks for a great show, and I’m looking forward to the next one

Hi Tony…
Finally listened to the show on my way home from work tonight. Great stuff. Am reading GTD at the moment.
I wish I could get into Mindmapping…. but it just has never clicked for me. How about a show on Mind Mapping for folks like me? I’ll even be a Guinea Pig for you if you want…

Hey by the way… Loved the 10+2×5 stuff… best tip I have had in ages! Also using the 2 Cold Calls a day from SnogFrog Blog. Thanks!

thanks for getting the show back on, I look forward to hearing more of the different perspective that Tony brings.
I had been using a wiki based tool for managing projects and tasks as it automated the whole ‘next task’ thing but I am starting to think that writing them out again, kind of like lines at school, would reinforce me to get those pesky tasks finally done.
